CKD Communications, LLC
CKD Communications, LLC was started in 1998 as an extension of Creative Kids Development (CKD) a licensed Family Child Care program. CKD was the first family child care program to become nationally accredited in the State of Maryland in June, 2001 and reaccredited in August of 2004.
Nikki Darling-Kuria is the president of CKD Communications and has been providing quality family child care for 9 years. Nikki serves as the Public Relations Chair for the National Association for Family Child Care and has provided training to hundreds of child care providers across the country.
Nikki is available for keynote speeches and workshops presentations on a variety of topics.
Grant Awards
CKD Communications, LLC was recently awarded a contract with Maryland Committee for Children on behalf of the Child Care Administration to deliver Early Literacy, Language and Numeracy Training. See the L.E.E.A.P page for more details.
CKD Communications, LLC is also a grant recipient of the Judith P. Hoyer Education and Enhancement Grant from the Maryland State Department of Education and a statewide training grant from the Department of Human Resources Child Care Administration.
