Learning Enriched Environments Approach and Practice ™
Child Care Provider Training
Workshop Series
This series will lead participants through an in-depth understanding of brain based learning and of how enriched environments can increase early literacy, language and numeracy in young children.
L.E.E.A.P. has been designed to provide instruction on current research on brain based learning incorporating Maryland Model for School Readiness (MMSR).
Understanding that learning begins at birth L.E.E.A.P. will provide participants with concrete strategies and current knowledge to transform theory into practice. Core of knowledge hours for this series includes Child Development 10, Curriculum 22, Special Needs 4, Professionalism 2 for a total of 40 hours.
The registration fee for each workshop is only $10. When participants successfully complete all workshops in the series they will receive a $20 incentive bonus. The L.E.E.A.P. Into Learning Series will be held in four locations. Click below for specific dates and location for each of the four series offerings.
